Love this! A while back I wrote a post about our inner child and how we can meet them. It’s so important to care for our inner child to heal or present selves!

It absolutely is Johanna! It can take awhile for us as adults to truly acknowledge our inner child in a compassionate way.With practice, it can transform our lives in such a positive way. x

Wow this hit me so hard and it is so true. I am currently working in therapy with my inner child and let me tell you it is the hardest thing I have had to do yet. I become so emotional I just cry every single time. It’s like I can feel that hurt way back then all over again.

Been there too hun. You have to grieve for that little girl that was let down so much.The tears are healing, even if they might not feel like it yet. hugs

One thing that I found hard is to learn how to reparent my inner child and to gain her trust.
It is good to know though where some of these intense feelings come from when I feel triggered.
