Inner child healing is an extremely effective type of healing, especially for treating emotional and developmental wounds that occurred in childhood. The cause of these wounds would have originated from dysfunctional or neglectful parenting, particularly narcissistic abuse.

If you decide to embark on 1 to 1 coaching with me, particularly to heal emotional wounds from your childhood, inner child healing would be incorporated in our sessions. I would include inner child healing worksheets and exercises for you to practice in between sessions to help you get in touch with your inner child.

Inner child healing, is all about addressing the needs that weren’t met in our childhoods and heal the attachment wounds we’ve developed. 

We all have a younger part of ourselves that was never quite nurtured the right way or the way that was needed.

Inner work is the act of going inside ourselves, to explore our true feelings and parts of us that may have been rejected and labeled as “bad” or “too much” by our parents. 

By allowing ourselves time to go within, we begin uncovering our everyday coping mechanisms (being avoidant, substance abuse, isolating etc) and are able to fully accept and integrate our subconscious into consciousness. By healing our inner child, we begin to create the safety and security our younger selves had always needed but never received.
